[Wonder why the yogis in Malaysia couldn't practise yoga in peace...]
Beside the fire fighting, another yoga center is going off so fast, i.e. Urban Yoga. With effective Mar 2009, the new management (TSM) has taken over and renamed as "Energy". They also implemented new package fees @ RM168 per month unlimited for the public. Those existing members of Urban Yoga and anyone with a membership at any yoga or fitness center, can enjoy RM388 unlimited 3-month package. But a new joiner without any existing membership will be charged @ RM488 unlimited 3-month.
The Cheras outlet will be shifted to Tasik Selatan with effective May 2009 while the other 2 outlets at Kepong and Plaza Damas will be remained. This is due to expensive rental to occupy the entire 5th floor at Cheras Plaza and heard that this new building at the Tasik Selatan is the owner's property. I think cost saving is needed at this economic crisis, but wonder the location is fit to the customers' need. I went to the site but not too sure which building is it as they yet to put up any signage or banner. I just aware it is around the factory area behind the "Giant" or "UCSI" and below are few snapshots captured.

U r right it is located near the factory area. I am very worried about saftey especially for the night classes cos that area is well known for Bangladishy and Indon workers. I will stop joining this yoga center immediately when my package end in May.

Finally you are back to take control, it was a sin and and a nightmare to those who stir the fire again and again.
I just asked one of my children's class-mate's parents to translate the content of the chinese language comments. The more she explained to me, the more I lower my head. She's not a yogi and after reading the comments, she told me she will never even thinking of joining yoga anymore.
Those who putting the baseless accusation and personal attack to others, I am truly shame on your behaviour and your attitude towards yoga.
If you are a yoga teacher, may you don't carry the name of yoga but never holding the principles of yama and niyama.
If you are a new yoga student, may you just take this as the bad karma work carried out by just a small group of fake-yogis, don't let them influence your sacred yoga learning.
If you named yourself as a yogi, behave like a yogi, don't just come with the name of yogi but behave like devil, although no one knows the truth, you are answerable to your descendants in your future.
yogalover, i'm sorry that i can't take a reason that you are 'away' for two weeks and you are unaware of the comments. You are one of the most reputable yoga blogger in Malaysia hence you have your responsibilities to ensure the blog is well-taken care. Just imagine if you are away for weeks, you will lock your door, safe box and other necessary safety precaution cautiously. You can't blame others if your door is left open and burglary happened.
Pardon me for being direct, my 15 years experience in corporate world taught me well that you may not have second chance once your empire/home is ruined, no matter how long you have been operating the business/managing the blog.
I'm sure that you don't want to gain votes through sympathy as I believe that you are a capable young lady, my sincere comment is just here to advise you within my knowledge.
When seeing your homeland is being trespassed and jeopardized, I'm more worry than anyone just like seeing my good friend's house broke in by robbers. My heart is pain.
May this never happen again and leave our motherland with peaceful practice of yoga.

If you are taking night class, please be more careful and be reminded to take care of your safety first as I noticed that area mainly are factories and should be very quiet at night.
Heard that Energy will have their own car park, so ensure you park within their compound. Do check with them on the safety over there, especially the early morning and late evening classes. Day time should be okay...

Many thanks for your kind concerns. I'm so sorry for not controlling it well and upset my e-friends here.
I was away for a business trip to Philippines and so happened have no internet access afterwork. During working hours, I was extremely busy and have no chance to surf for personal matters. By the time I came back to KL, I got terrible fever and so sick till I scared to look at the pills/tablets when come to medicine time. I only realised something went wrong when my friend called me about it. I didn't set any control as found that things getting better and everyone was so positive about the World Yoga Day. Unfortunately, it is out of my expectation that the culprits are always around and to attack anytime when I'm just slightly relaxing...
I'm not here to find and give excuse but in fact really appreciate your kind concern and to answer you. I will take note in future to take care of my property...
By the way, please don't take the effort to get the rubbish be translated, otherwise, you will really get sick or eyesore. I was really sick and sad reading some of it and wonder why can't this small group of senior yogis show good example to us and practise yoga in peace. Anyway, will try to inject more positive thoughts and will try to finish all the spring cleaning soon...

browse through energy website, under construction, the package offered is definitely not cheap ( or I should say it's almost the same pricing as myoga ), don't forget that myoga is located at the prestigious The Gardens@midvalley, where the yoga centre located at the factory area shall not charge that much. Furthermore, the reason given to the members are they couldn't afford the rental at cheras plaza, hence moved to tasik selatan, then why is the fee increased instead of maintaining the same rate or reduced to be more affordable rate?
This is not logical to me.

my simple suggestion, as if on anytime that you are away for more than a couple of days, just set the mode of comments to be reviewed by you, late is better than misleading.

Just went into energy forum. They have posted a location and picture of the new Cheras center to be open soon.
If well plan and design, this outlet should be very nice, and is up to Energy.If security and facilities are good, I might join and continue my yoga with energy.
Actually the new fees seem to be ok due to the unlimited usage of classes given by energy compare with other centers in town. Anyway, I just want to have a good center which stable in operational and financial in the near future. No point joining a center which only last for 3-6 months.

Glad to hear that Energy will have good security at their new outlet at Tasik Selatan. Anyway, just try out first as you have already paid up till May.
Hope Energy could start up a good and positive yoga energy, then you won't find your May's fee is wasted and may continue. If find not as per your expectation, then you may try to consider Life Yoga at Cheras. Although it has only one studio and few teachers, the students there quite enjoy their yoga life there.

Energy is belong to 100% sub. of TSM Globla Bhd (Public Listed Company in KLSE). Anyone can own TSM Global Bhd. Hehe just buy their shares in KLSE.
But I have checked KLSE website, TSM is strong in financial company and make a lot profits during last years and previous years. They even give dividend last year.
