Lets Move Forward and Continue Yoga Practice

Yoga Zone crisis has been prolonged for quite some time and finally concluded and declared closure by the receiver, Ferrier Hodgson MH Sdn Bhd. Really sad as all the members' monies (including my hard earn membership fees) are gone and so many of the members are still servicing the credit card installments for nothing till....

Nothing much I can do. Instead of blaming, I choose to move forwad as I can't change the history but I have a choice for today and tomorrow. As such, I have been busy looking around for alternatives as a lot of new born yoga centers within Klang Valley lately ever since YZ went under the receivership. I hope this blog can provide and share the information with those YZ victims who still keen to continue yoga practice. At the same time can also disseminate the information about some of the ex-YZ teachers new setup studios or the place they are teaching, as many ex-YZ students are so concerned their favourite teachers' whereabouts.

I expect most of the interested readers here are the ex-YZ practitioners, teachers, the new setup or existing yoga centers. However, just realised that Ms Lim Lay Gaik is also following up this blog besides YogaJess' blog. I received her email against one of the comments in my blog. She said someone has created a false email address under her name to receive enquiries and reply. This could be caused by the earlier comments in YogaJess' blog. I wonder why didn't she explain in Yogajess' blog or my blog here. I think may be she worry readers can't differentiate it as too many Lim Lay Gaik comments in the blogs and has no way to contact Jess but my email address is available here. Anyway, below is the contents and she has given her real email address to contact.

============================================================
Hi Yogalover, wonder if you can clarify this on your blog. Anonymous said I replied her email. limlaygaik@gmail.com is not my email add. My email is laygaik@gmail.com, so I suspect someone created an email to get enquiries and reply making me sound like a bitch! Any chance of you helping me out here? You can post my actual email add. I don't mind.

Thanks so much.

Lay Gaik

The Anonymous commented at the post "The End of Yoga Zone" on 26 Sep @ 9:55pm, you may try to re-forward your email or query to the above mentioned email laygaik@gmail.com. Lets see what will be the reply by the real Lim Lay Gaik and please do update us. Thanks.

The End of Yoga Zone

So many YogaZone's victims have been taking efforts contacting the Receriver, Ferrier Hodgson MH Sdn Bhd, for the status update about the fate of Yoga Zone since it's receivership from 7th Aug 2008. However, there is no news for the past one and half months. Now, they just published a "Notice" at Yoga Zone's website that Yoga Zone is officially announced cease of operation due to its deteriorating financial condition.

At the point no. (2), it mentioned that the company's assests may not be sufficient to discharge the secured and priority creditors in full and the members' claim for refunds are ranked unsercured, means last priority. So, is that means the members' submission of Form 1 to Tribunal for Consumer Claims is useless although can win the case...?=============================================================

The Yoga Zone Group Sdn Bhd

(Receivers and Managers Appointed)

(Company No. 680406-X)

CIRCULAR TO MEMBERS OF
THE YOGA ZONE GROUP SDN BHD
(Receivers and Managers Appointed)
(Company No. 680406-X) (“YZG” or “the Company”)

Dear Members,

As you are aware, Mr Michael Joseph Monteiro and Mr Heng Ji Keng of Messrs Ferrier Hodgson MH Sdn Bhd were appointed as Receivers and Managers of the Company by the High Court of Malaya on 7 August 2008 vide a Court Order dated 7 August 2008 pursuant to an Originating Petition No. D6-26-40-2007.

Please find below the latest developments and other information of the Company for your attention:

1. Current Status of all Outlets

Yoga Zone/ Yoga Club: Klang, Taman Desa, Endah Parade, Puchong, The Weld YZ Comfort Zone: Taman Desa, Sri Hartamas

We regret to advise that the Company is not in the capacity to continue the operations due to its deteriorating financial condition. All classes and services are discontinued in this regard. The R&Ms have no alternative but to cease operations of the aforesaid outlets if there is no further funding provided to the Company. In the meantime, we will continue our discussion with the parties who are interested to acquire the Company’s assets or revive the business. Members will be updated through the website in due course.

Yoga Zone / Yoga Club: Kepong, Cheras and Sri Hartamas Outlet

Due to the financial position of the Company, the Company is unable to make rental payments for the premises of the aforesaid outlets. In this regard, the respective landlords of the said premises have taken possession of the same on 8 September 2008 for the Sri Hartamas outlet, on 9 September 2008 for the Kepong outlet and on 17 September 2008 for the Cheras outlet. As at the date of this circular, we are unaware of the landlord’s intentions with regard to the premises.

Y Fitness (Centro Mall, Klang)

Due to the financial position of the Company, the Company is unable to make rental payments for the aforesaid premises. As a result, Distress proceedings were initiated against the Company by the landlord on 9 September 2008. Following this, we regret to advise that operations at Y Fitness is ceased as the R&Ms no longer have authority over the assets, including the gym equipment, located at the premises.

2. Refunds and Cancellation of Credit Card Installment payments

Please be advised that members’ claims for refunds are ranked unsecured and will be dealt with strictly pursuant to the relevant provisions of the Companies Act, 1965. Based on our preliminary assessment, the proceeds from the realisation of the Company’s assets may not be sufficient to discharge the secured and priority creditors in full, which include the Inland Revenue Board and Employees Provident Fund. Accordingly, there would not be any funds available to meet the claims for refunds. Should the situation change during the receivership, you will be notified through this website accordingly. Please also be advised that the R&Ms are not in the position to advise members in relation to credit card matters, including cancellation of credit card installment payments. Kindly contact your credit card issuing bank for further queries.

We will update members whenever appropriate. Your understanding is much appreciated.

Yours faithfully

Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia

Notice that there are some comments pertaining to the filing of the Tribunal for Consumer Claims. In fact, Fei is very kind and shared a short note on how to do the filing in the comment column in one of my posts on 8th Sep. But, I think some of you might miss that due to too many comments already. So, I have visited the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia’s website given by Fei and try to summarize as much as I can here.
=====================================
Few Relevant FAQ:

How does a consumer file a claim in the Tribunal?

A claim can be filed in the Tribunal by filling up the claim form which is known as Form 1. This Form is available free of charge from all Tribunal branches and can even be downloaded from the e-Tribunal portal.

Form 1 must be completed in 4 copies by the claimant and filed in the nearest office of the Tribunal. The filing fee for Form 1 is RM5.00 and an official receipt will be issued to the claimant.

Form 1 will be registered dated and signed by the Secretary or an Assistant Secretary of the Tribunal and affixed with the seal of the Tribunal. Two copies of Form 1 that have been affixed with the seal of the Tribunal shall be returned to the claimant for service. Service of Form 1 to a respondent may be affected in any of the following manner:

  1. leaving the document with the director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the company or the proprietor of the firm;
  2. giving the document to any of the persons mentioned above; or
  3. posting the document in a pre-paid registered letter addressed to any of the persons mentioned above at the registered office of the company or firm or at its address for service

Note: Refer to the comment in Joshua’ s blog - since YogaZone in under the Receivership, so the service of Form1 will be directed to the Receiver. Their details as follow:
Ferrier Hodgson MH Sdn Bhd, No. 22, Jalan Tun Sambathan 3, 50470 Kuala Lumpur
What happens after filing Form 1?
The consumer has to serve Form 1 on the trader and both parties are required to attend a hearing of the claim on the date fixed by the Tribunal.

How should the parties prepare for the hearing before the Tribunal?

The parties should gather all relevant documents regarding the claim and get ready any witnesses to attend the hearing. Any party can also bring along a family member, friend etc. to assist them at the hearing. However, no lawyers are allowed to represent either party at the hearing.

What happens after the Tribunal hearing?

If the claim is settled with the consent of both parties, the Tribunal will issue an agreed award (Note: All Tribunal orders are known as awards). If the claim is not settled, the Tribunal will issue an award based on the assessment of the facts and the law involved. The President will give his reasons for the award.

What happens if any one party does not comply with an award of the Tribunal?

Non-compliance with a Tribunal award is a criminal offence under the Consumer Protection Act, 1999. Any complain of non-compliance with an award should be made to the Enforcement Division, Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs.

Public Auction at Cheras Plaza

The Cheras Plaza's landlord has called for a public auction on YZ's leftover items (such as aircorn, CD players and etc...) yesterday. Heard that not many people attended the auction and they only managed to collect a small sum slightly above RM10k+. This is not even enough to cover the one month rental...

Wonder Urban Yoga will manage to negotiate with the Cheras Plaza's landlord to have another outlet there. Understood that a number of ex-YZ members very disappointed and would not join them, but some might consider if they still unable to find an ideal yoga center to continue the yoga practice and Urban Yoga can provide the same service as previous YZ.

Believe there will be more new studios coming up, so that we will have more choices and options. Anyway, just hope everyone looks forward and continue yoga practice no matter what bad experience with YZ or whatever as this was the cause of the human's acts and nothing wrong with yoga. Happy practicing!

The Receiver of Yoga Zone - Ferrier Hodgson MH Sdn Bhd

please click on the above image to enlarge it for your easy reading

Everyone has lost the patience when seeing almost all the YZ outlets are closed, remaining two at Plaza Damas and Kepong but been renamed as "Urban Yoga" with new fees effective 1st Oct 2008.

However, as per one of the comments here by yogababy on 9th Sep @ 5:26pm, someone from Urban Yoga management told her that they did send their proposal to the Receiver but is putting on KIV. This means they setup as a new company and not taking over the YZ. That’s why they said that they are not liable to the YZ members or the creditors, it’s true but will the Receiver come to get back the YZ remaining assets (such as furniture, air-cond, mirror and etc.) from Plaza Damas and Kepong as Urban Yoga is not their appointed new investor. If so, does the receiver has the right to do so now as the landlord has terminated the lease with YZ and renew the lease to Urban Yoga.

Is the Receiver yet to re-act on time, so this is happened that the YZ outlets taken over by a new investor but not the company? What has the Receiver done so far? No status at all after 34 days of receivership since 7th Aug? Understood they need sometime to clear the mess but at least let us know an estimated time line and status update.

Found few comments from the members here who have made calls to the receiver but either couldn’t get thru or got them but without any answer/status update. I have tried to call them yesterday’s morning but same as some of the members here that couldn’t get thru. So, I decided to write them a letter via email as suggested by Fei. I made a very simple request, i.e. to have a meeting with the members for status update instead leaving us in the dark. They should consider the members as creditors as well (paid in advance but no service is rendered) and concern about our benefits. Attached above is the letter sent yesterday @ 1:45pm and I have confirmed the email address given by Fei is correct as stated in their website - http://www.ferrierhodgson.com.au/index.cfm. However, so far no news from them yet and doubt they will reply me.

Meeting at Plaza Damas on 8th Sep 2008

First would like to thank YogaBaby being so kind to raise our listed concerns here and updated us as soon as she was back from the meeting.

There were 5 member representatives from Plaza Damas and YogaBaby represented The Weld but she is so kind printed our concerns listed here (emailed from some of Cheras members) and to find out the answers from the investor. Below are the summaries and for the details you may refer to YogaBaby’s comment at the previous post of “Meetings…” on 8th Sep @ 6:58pm.

Without Prejudice

  • The Plaza Damas and Kepong outlets are confirmed to be taken over by the new investors with immediate effect. The new company will be named as “Urban Yoga” (if I didn't hear it wrongly). Plaza Damas will resume the classes tomorrow. They have the intention to take over Cheras Plaza as well but pending to the mutual agreement with the landlord. It might take about 2 weeks time for outcome from the landlord whether they will renew the lease. The Weld and Sri Petaling aren’t sound positive due to huge outstanding rental due (3-4 months) and the latter outlet seems encounter difficulty on leasing procedure. No idea about the fate of other outlets. Appreciate if the representatives that going to attend the meeting at Kepong tomorrow can help to raise this concern?

  • No refund on whatever paid package to YZ as this is between YZ and the members. But it seems some members have filed with Tribunal Court and the court has ordered YZ to refund but don’t know the status. So, anyone of the victim can go and pay RM10 to file with Tribunal Court and wait for the refund. Anyway, doubt YZ has anything to refund to the members and wonder the receiver could be a better party to update us the YZ status.

  • The “Urban Yoga” is a newly formed company and willing to offer special rate for the existing YZ members:
    - The YZ yearly members and those holding voucher entitled RM88 monthly fee for the first year.
    - The GC members entitled this RM88 monthly fee for the first 3 years.
    - The fee is charged on monthly basis and pay directly to this new yoga club, “Urban Yoga”.
    - After the grace period (1 year for yearly members and 3 years for GC), the monthly fee will be @ RM138.
    - This membership is free flow club to club.
    - The YZ Official Receipt need to be presented as proof of YZ valid membership in order to be entitled for this RM88 special rate.
    - This RM88 new fee take effect from 1st Oct 2008. Meanwhile, YZ members can still practice at these outlets for free till end of Sep 2008.

  • It is confirmed that TJ did file to set aside the receivership. However, it will not affect the new business as the landlords have terminated the lease with YZ and signed new ones with the new owner and new club.

  • Regarding to the teachers' training, the new investor and Ms. Lim LG said that they will try to make special arrangement continue to provide the teachers' training to those have signed up the TTC.

  • The member representatives have suggested that to put up a suggestion box for member's queries.

  • They will renovate the outlets in stages as they want to continue operation and provide classes on a daily basis. Plaza Damas should have the water supply back by tomorrow, but YogaBaby suggests to bring own mat & towel as she heard that the outlet is still in a mess at the moment.

  • Should you all have further questions, you may contact the manager at Plaza Damas - Ms Esther & Kepong - Miss Lillian.

Above might not clear all the doubts but at least we know that the new investor really comes into the picture and 2 outlets (Plaza Damas & Kepong) are confirmed been taken over. Special rate of new fees to the existing members are clear, some may accept but some may not. It is hard to please everyone but at least do give some answers instead of leaving the members in the dark. The pending issue now is the status of other outlets and those pity victims that still paying installments may take legal action against YZ and can't claim anything from the new investor as it is setup as a new company. Appreciate if anyone can make good suggestions to help those GC members that burdened with heavy instalments and intend to continue their yoga practice. THANK YOU.

Meetings...

YZ & YF Klang Members & Centro Management Meeting on 5th Sep 2008 (Fri)
According to few members that attended the above meeting, it was actually a discussion and Q&A session. It concluded that to form up a committee to share the cost for hiring lawyer for legal action. They will try to gather all the YZ members as a group to collect petition and send out formal letters to appeal for refund and stop the bank installments. However, some of them said that most probably it is impossible to get a refund, so they planned to fight for a change in management and get someone to take over.

New Investor & YZ Member Representatives Meeting at Plaza Damas Outlet on 8th Sep 2008 (Mon)
As I know, this meeting is held at Plaza Damas outlet @ 3:00pm and only opened for the member representatives. However, have no idea who are the representatives. I believe it should be fine if yogababy and anonymous (plrulz82@gmail.com) volunteer to attend as been told that can invite few members as representatives for this meeting. I wish to attend but couldn’t make it. So, would appreciate both of you help to voice out the members’ doubts and queries as listed below and update us thereafter.

New Investor & YZ Member Representatives Meeting at Kepong Outlet on 9th Sep 2008 (Mon)
Joshua is being kind to inform that there will be a meeting with member representatives as well at Kepong outlet on the following day after Plaza Damas on 9th Sep 2008 (Tue) @ 11:00am. He emphasized that only appointed member representatives can attend but didn’t mention who they are. Hope Joshua and those attended representatives can update us as well after the meeting and also raise the same concerns as other members.

Common Doubts and Queries from Members
Below are the summary of the concerns that emailed by some of the members:

  1. Which are the outlets will be taken over by the new investors and how long would it take? At least members will know whether should they continue to wait or look for alternatives if their outlet will definitely be closed, although they willing to pay the RM88 fees.
  2. Now only 4 outlets conducting classes (Puchong, Kepong, Taman Deas and The Weld) and how long would it be sustained as noticed classes are getting lesser?
  3. Is this RM88 payable on monthly basis deal to the investor, NOT the installment scheme to the bankers anymore?
  4. Is this RM88 a long term special rate for the existing YZ members or just for a short grace period?
  5. Can the new investor kindly consider to waive the fees for the existing YZ members for a grace period (may be a year or whatever suggestion as a gesture of goodwill to maintain the YZ members), especially for those GC members that still paying heavy installments to the banks?
  6. Someone has posted a comment which highlighted and reminded something. Anonymous commented on 7th Sep @ 8:45am on my previous post: “I remember read from sin chew last month that TJ is apply to set aside the receivership on September and the hearing is on 12th September, this Friday. Lay Gaik said that the investor will come in on 15th September, the problem is, what if TJ had successfully set aside the receivership? Then receivers have to get out of the company and TJ is back to control, then will this investor works with TJ?”
What will happen if TJ really successfully set aside the receivership and doesn’t want to work with this new investor? So, would it be better that the new membership fees collection of RM88 will only take effect after the outcome from the court?
  7. Would it possible the Receiver to call for a meeting to update the members about the status so that won’t leave us in the dark. At least meeting with some representatives if they worry it would cause havoc if all the members attend and attack by asking 1001 questions…. (This query ONLY IF the Receiver is attended the meeting).

Hope those representatives that attending the meeting tomorrow or Tue at Kepong, can help to raise the above concerns. THANK YOU.

A Message to YZ Cheras Plaza Members

Received call from Ms Lim LG this morning and being told that:

  • All the YZ Cheras Plaza members can tentatively practice at other outlets. The ones I can think of now are Taman Desa and The Weld as these 2 are the nearest and also notice that they have allocated more classes at Taman Desa, The Weld, Kepong and Plaza Damas outlets these 2 days.

  • There will be a meeting between the new investor and members' representatives from Plaza Damas outlet on this coming Monday (8th Sep) @ 3:00pm at Plaza Damas outlet. Since there are so many doubts and without any proper notice to Cheras Plaza members since the closure on Wed, we can send few representatives to attend the meeting for clarification. Of course we can’t get everyone there, so is anyone from Cheras Plaza can represent us, could you kindly let me know via email yogalover88@gmail.com while others can let me know the queries and doubts we wish to clear. I will then post all the queries here for the representatives to ask on our behalf. We can have about 4 to 6 representatives. Sorry that I’m unable to take any leave on Mon, although I wish to represent the CP members to attend.

I totally agree to some comments here as I'm equally frustrated and annoyed as all other members.
  • Didn’t attend any yoga practice for weeks as most of the time couldn’t make it due to lesser classes and most of the time full. As a result, didn’t want to rush all the way at the worst traffic hours to the outlet anymore and end up the class is full or cancelled (as I used to make reservation all the time previously). Moreover the interval of the class is much longer and might be full also.

  • Can't plan and tired checking the schedule every night as sometimes the schedule was posted quite late night.

  • Clueless: in doubt whether any new investor comes in, so that can continue but WHEN? Or should I just look for elsewhere but will it be too early and should give the receiver some time to look for investor. There is no proper notice at all, especially the closure of Cheras Plaza in a sudden and I saw the notice personally at the outlet.

However, there is no point blaming anyone now as this is already the fact that someone has conned the money of YZ and left with an empty account (NO $$$). I’m not to side anyone here but just to cool down and analyze the whole case again carefully:

  • Would it be better if the receiver not coming in as it is already the fact that YZ owed a huge sum to so many creditors? Did the RM99 help and how long could it survive or would it possible to clear all the debt? Answer this question honestly…

  • Is it Lay Gaik’s fault? Is she the one owed the monies to all these creditors, teachers’ & staffs’ EPF, Socso, Income Tax and salaries?

  • Would this RM88 another con and why should we existing members to pay for it? I didn’t participate the RM99 campaign as I didn’t support it since I lost confident and didn’t trust YZ anymore (since been conned) which only with a huge negative number in their account, full with huge debts which quite impossible to be settled. As for the RM88, I would consider until I see the new investor comes in as it is a new company already and no longer YZ. Of course I would never pay for yearly nor lifetime membership. Why I would consider to pay again? Because I want to continue my yoga practice in a nice environment and good teachers. Don’t let this YZ incident to stop the yoga practice as we know it benefits us. Do compare this price with other yoga centers or the newly setup yoga studios or RM150 for the new members, I think it is still the best price. Please don’t get me wrong as I’m not here selling for them, as I said “I WOULD CONSIDER UNTIL I SEE THE NEW INVESTOR”.

In fact, I posted few queries and doubts to Ms Lim this morning and she told that there is actually one same investor but would settle the outlet one at a time as there are too many outlets owned by YZ. They actually need to discuss and negotiate with all separate individual landlords at different outlets and agree that it is not an easy job as not all the landlords are so compromised when comes to the company’s benefit. The investor will take few more outlets beside Plaza Damas and Kepong but not all. Cheras Plaza sounds positive provided they manage to negotiate with the landlord who told will revert in 2 weeks time.

Last to comment, just to be fair for everyone. TJ has caused all these problems and we could be so nice and patient for him for months previously, why should we keep on pointing the fingers and pressure Lay Gaik. As I learnt something from my favourite teacher Jane last week, i.e. everyone keeps on talking about yoga but we just do the postures, where is our yoga mind. Recalled a post from Azmi in YogaJess’ blog about yoga mind. So, no point blaming TJ, Lay Gaik or the receivers. Lets do our best to continue our yoga practice and to have a peace of mind.

Ms Lim or the receiver or the new investor (if you do read my blog here), appreciate if you could always give notice and update to all the existing YZ members as we all are the victims of the YZ incident. Hope to be fair for us as well, don’t leave us in the dark…

YZ Cheras Plaza is Officially Announced Closure

YZ Cheras Plaza outlet was officially closed by the landlord this noon due to the outstanding rental for the past few months. The entrance wooden door is locked with notice and few documents sticked on the door.

The morning classes were on but evening classes were cancelled without any notice due to the sudden closure. There will be no classes at Cheras Plaza (CP) till further notice.

I was told by Stephanie that the Sri Petaling (SP) outlet was closed as well this morning when she suppose to teach the first morning class there. Due to too many students were already there, she conducted the yoga class outside the outlet in the shopping mall (Endah Parade). However, they were chased by the guards there after 45 minutes of practice. The rest of the classes of the day were cancelled.

At first, thought that the nearest outlet to CP is SP and can practice over there since CP is closed. Seems like the nearest outlets to CP and SP members now are Taman Desa or The Weld, KL. I was be informed that the members of these 2 outlets can go to Taman Desa for practice at the moment and they will try to allocate more classes there. But, a bit in doubt as the schedule for tomorrow yet to be published in the YZ website. Just spoke to Lay Gaik and be informed that there was no staff opened the SP outlet this morning for classes and sometimes they faced difficulty in staff arrangement. However, most of the time they can get better or easier arrangement at Plaza Damas outlet. As such, they are trying to allocate more classes at this outlet, so that members can attend classes there. But, I think it could be a distance problem for CP's students to go there for practice...??? So, alternate choice for CP's members will be SP and wonder Fei can update the status there as you use to go to SP outlet for practice.

YZ Receivership Update as of 27 Aug 2008

please double click the above image and enlarge it thereafter for your easy reading

Just got to know from YogaJess that a YZ member whom a senior banker knew exactly how's the system work. She takes the effort to call auditor, getting the details, document it personally and handle to YZ, The Weld members on 27 Aug mornning as attached above.

It sounds positive as there are interested investors called every day. So just be patient as this transition period could take longer as everything in YZ has been messed up for such long time.

The meeting with YZ's staff & teachers mentioned above could be this coming 2nd Sep meeting which is after the long holidays over the weekend. Hope to hear more positive news.

YZ & YF Klang Member Meeting on 5th Sep 2008?

Got to know from YZ Klang’s members that there will be a Member Meeting held at Klang Centro Ballroom (1st Floor) on 5th Sep 2008 (Friday) at 7:00pm. This meeting is organized by Mr. JW Phuah to discuss the options and actions need to be taken against YogaZone and Y-Fitness for the members’ rights and interests. Heard that YB Teng Chang Khim (Selangor state assembly speaker) and media press will be informed about this meeting and those parties involved are:

  • Juhn Teo - Project Director from Centro Management
  • Catherine Ng - Centre Manager from Centro Management
  • Anand (a member of Y-Fitness who is practicing lawyer)
  • YogaZone & Y-Fitness members.

Wonder the receiver aware that the members already impatient and tired with this YZ’s crisis. Understood that they need some time to sort out the mess but if they keep on delay the meeting with the members for clarificatioin, the situation will be getting worse as members might have lost their patience waiting for the new investor to come in.

The Classes at Yoga Zone are "ON" This Week

Glad to know that the volunteered teachers and staffs that worked for the past 11 days will be paid for a small amount as a little remuneration to them. Today's meeting sounds positive as classes will be continued for this week till Sat as Sun and Mon are public holidays, our National Day. Another meeting will be held again on 2nd Sep and hope there will have an outcome.

While preparing the post for today just now, thought of Ms Lim Lay Gaik who has taken effort to save and solve the YZ's financial crisis. Wonder she can give an idea how long the receiver needs to sort out the mess of YZ. As such, sent a sms to her hoping some answers. Really a shock to me that she called me immediate right after my sms. She is a very kind and helpful lady that trying her best to clear my doubts. In fact, she can't intefere any progress at this stage as YZ is fully under the receivership. However, she told that the receiver seems having discussion with potential investors but nothing can be revealed at this stage as it is private and confidential. But it sounds a positive sign to me, at least a hope. She said that the receiver would arrange meeting with all the members at respective outlets soon, may be next week. They have been trying their best to arrange as many classes as possible for all outlets and Bukit Tinggi Klang has no classes at the moment due to location is too far for the teachers to travel to. Anyway, they are looking for the solution. As for the hygiene matter, they will try to get the outlet be cleaned over this long weekend when no classes are on.

Spring always come after Winter and hope the Winter at YZ to be over soonest possible. May God bless all of us...

The Class is Still "ON"

There is a Notice sticked on the YZ Cheras Plaza's entrance telling members that the classes are still on.

Dear members,

The Class is still "ON" inside the studio.

Please check with your instructor/teacher regards studio room number

Daily schedule, please log into
www.yogazone.com.my

Enjoy your class, Thank you

I just wonder if the new investor is really coming in soon, how will they treat us the existing members. Of course it will be a good news that all the members can continue practicing with our beloved teachers in such a comfortable environment and enjoy the same facitilities. However, how much additional fees need to be topped up...? Hopefully a special treatment to be given for existing members, the best is remained unchanged (which is quite impossible) or at least a special discount/offer rate. Await good news next week...

Yoga Zone Has No Classes Tomorrow (24 Aug 2008)

Found an article about "The Truth Behind Yoga Zone’s Problem" posted at the MunFitness Blog which stated that YZ in fact already facing financial difficulties in year 2006. How come it only explored and burst 2 years later in 2008...

Got to know that YZ has no classes tomorrow and the receiver has postponed their meeting with YZ staffs to coming Mon. But heard that an interested investor had just called for a short meeting with those volunteered teachers this afternoon with some positive feedback. Seems like they need another week of time to sort out the matter and glad that next week should have classes from Mon to Sat. So, do remember to check out the YZ's schedule. Don't give up!

Cheras Plaza Evening Class on 18 Aug 2008

Jess has blocked her blog and no update anymore since yesterday...

Thought Shuba told that will update a week schedule for next whole week but found that YZ's website has yet to publish even tomorrow's schedule. Anyway, just be informed by Stephanie that she will be teaching at Cheras Plaza tomorrow's evening - 6:30pm Beg. Pilates and 7:45pm Hatha 1. Hope whoever from CP read this blog can help to inform the members who intend to attend the classes...

Self Service at YZ Cheras Plaza

Please Check Classes & Studio No.
Got to know from Jess' blog that Kepong outlet has nobody open the door this morning eventhough the YZ's website stated there were 2 classes in the morning. Pity to those members patiently waited there for an hour and went back with disappointment.

Luckily Maggie Wong and Joanne are so nice and still coming to Cheras Plaza to open the door for teachers and members for classes this morning. But thereafter will be on Self Service, i.e. check the schedule that placed on the reception on the relevant classes and studio number, then proceed to the respective studio to find a seat without any registration.

I went there again in the afternoon to check for tomorrow's schedule, but no one in the outlet except the last class was going on in a studio.

Today is only the 3rd day of transition period and already showing all the negative signs. Will there any miracle to be happened in the next 7 days...? Lets all of us pray together...

Yoga Zone Group Sdn Bhd is under Receivership

Yoga Zone Group Sdn Bhd finally goes for Receivership. Today is the 2nd day of the transition period and really wonder the Receiver can really give a positive answer on the 10th day as told. Now has only 9 days left, how much can they do? May God bless all of us (receivers, teachers, staffs and members) but doubt can get win / win solution at this kind of situation.

So far, no one knows what is the progress and all this while got the update thru YogaJess.com and it is now not accessible. Believe Jess fed up with all the attacks from TJ & his gang, especially the AD. He is really irritated and keeps on attack all the good teachers and Lay Gaik. I think he is trying to jeopardize YZ’s image and the good name of our beloved teachers. Sad, now unable to access to YogaJess blog and wonder what is the latest update. Where else can I get info…???

Yoga Club at Taman Desa

It is really sad to see Yoga Zone outlet at Taman Desa being splashed with red paint yesterday. Why this happened to Yoga Zone where should be a peaceful place for us to practice yoga....
