I do think that the comment written here about Urban Yoga is right. The owner of urban yoga can really be so cheap sake just throw in some plant and think the place is whole new? That is really radiculous. Hey whoever the new owner of Urban Yoga, there is someone call "interior designer" in this world. Please be genuine to us, your customers whether it is non ex-YZ or ex-YZ, we have totally not see any effort you put into this yoga center. Talked about big investor to the Urban Yoga? I really dont see where is the "big" investment going to anywhere? except perhaps is under table investment you are talking about.

ok, not bad, can felt that one of them, i think is sean, was nervous and weak than the other 4 teachers.
heard that sean is 1 of the yogaloft teacher,hope he can train more, due to all yogaloft teachers are great.
I think this is normal to all new teacher, especially he is just graduated from TTC in August this year!!!

i also went to watch for the performance and i agree that sean stamina on that day was not really good.. Cos i've talked to sean n noticed that he falled sick as he performed for 2 days and getting so tired..For the first 2 sections he was great and i think we should give a chance to him..Gambateh sean..
yogaloft mentioned that that they will start operation before mid of Nov and this Sat is already 15 Nov. So, is that means they are going to open anytime this week...? When and which day...? Anyone have the idea?

Thanks. I have registered it for quite some time back, but so far never receive any update except first thank you email for registration.
Thought they would promote it at the One Utama during the yoga performance last weekend. But didn't see any information about yogaloft and been told it was only preview. Even the emcee introduced the performance as "8energy" yoga performance by etsu wellness. Nothing was mentioned about yogaloft...
Will just wait and see. Appreciate if you could share with us if you do receive any update. Thanks! ^_^
hi, as i know the emcee didn't mentioned due to celebrity is one of 1U tenant..yogaloft consider a competitor to them so the management(as i know celebrity is making noise there) will not allow them to do promotion.. maybe celebrity might worried got affected by the performance.. however, many crowd were there for the performance..

Kamal?Only attended his class once in taman desa last year for ashtanga beginners class, he didnt explain much or rather he didnt explain anything at all just mainly ask us to follow him, a few of us were clearly struggling and yet he didnt explain on how to do the poses correctly. Dont know if this is his method of teaching or maybe he just wasnt in a teaching mood that day.
every teacher has their own style,if u dont like the teacher then dont go his class loh...what so difficult?

I think ashtanga is an advance class, normally the teacher wouldn't explain on the correctness of posture anymore, in fact, they will normally emphasize on the flow...

if the teacher care bout student,do adjustment when teaching,somebody will say the teacher 'ham sap', want to molest ppl;but if the teacher didn't do any adjustment,then somebody will say the teacher don't care bout student...bla...bla...bla...WHAT U ALL WANT???
maybe the students shall put a sticket at their back stating "adjustable" or "non-adjustable" loh, then the teachers will know who to adjust and not to adjust, wa ha ha ha!

heard that Sean is under a special training by a very experienced trainer, and he's the only apprentice of this trainer after many years, most of the experienced teachers in ex-yz and now new yoga centers owners were actually 90% his students last time.

Yes, Zen is introducing Sean to yogaloft, but he's definitely under a different training, you can see Zen and his style are quite different.

I told that I would try my best to check and sorry that didn’t come back for so long as I failed to find her whereabouts. As I said earlier, two people can look at the exact same thing but see something totally different. You read it and found that the trainer must be Zen. But I read it and found it could be “TJ” as Sean’s follower mentioned that:
1. Sean is the only apprentice of this trainer after many years (if not mistaken, TJ stopped training any new teacher for quite some time already).
2. Most of the ex-YZ experienced teachers were his students (most of the senior and experienced teachers were trained by TJ. I found this from the teachers’ profile previously published in YZ’s website).
Anyway, my analysis above could be wrong but it is just my own opinion. Just want to say we human are very unique and two people can look at the exact same thing but see something totally different. That’s why so many different comments here. We are free to talk but can’t force everyone to agree with us or force ourselves to agree other either. So, no point arguing and Sean’s follower might not be bluffing…

Seems the opening of yogaloft would be a good news to you as it is near to Puchong (LDP highway). Other options could be Yogasana (Puchong) and Les Studio (near to Plaza Kelana also) but of course yogaloft could be more luxury. Anyway, it depends to individual's need.

Ya, just to clarify that I read from the message from Sean's follower and feel the trainer he/she mentioned could be TJ, based on my above analysis. This is only my own opinion and it could be wrong. Only Sean's follower knows better as he/she was the one told us here but not in full story....
though Sean used to be a full time model, gorgeous, tall, good in pose, you will be surprise that he's very humble teacher and always smile and care about students. I believe after a good and expensive lesson for TJ, he will be definitely extra-careful on selecting his next apprentice. All the best, Sean!
